Smart Inspect uses a minimal number of cookies. This page explains exactly what we use and why.
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. It allows a website to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are signed in.
Name: session
Purpose: Keeps you signed in while you navigate the application.
Without this cookie, you would need to sign in every time you load a page.
Duration: Expires when you close your browser (unless you choose "Keep me signed in",
in which case it persists for 30 days).
Type: HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite=Lax — it cannot be accessed by JavaScript.
Name: remember_token
Purpose: Keeps you signed in for 30 days if you check "Keep me signed in" at login.
Duration: 30 days.
Type: HTTP-only.
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in. Most modern browsers allow you to manage cookies in Settings → Privacy → Cookies.
